In partnership with the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, FAA is excited to facilitate the creation of artist-painted benches, to be placed on White Steet during the Frankfort Fall Festival!

FAA:

• Will provide benches and a $50 gift card for basic supplies.

• Will clear coat the finished benches.

• Will add FAA's logo to the the benches.

​

Selected Artists:

• Will design and paint the benches. Nothing can be attached or added to change the structure of the bench.

• Will provide their own brushes and extra paint that isn't covered by the gift card.

• Can include their name, logo, and/or website on the bench.

• Will receive a $100 FAA gift certificate, usable for membership, exhibit fees, and purchases at our retail store, Underground.

 

​We hope to have 4 benches ready for Fall Fest 2024 and to add to the collection in the coming years. The benches will remain the property of the Frankfort Arts Association and may be sold, auctioned, or raffled in the future. The benches will be featured on our website and social media.

The benches are 4' wide and built from 2x8 construction lumber. Artists can propose to work in pairs or groups, but only $100 in gift certificate(s) will be given per bench. If you work in a group, you will have to decide how to divide the gift certificate funds.
